Dr. Sudeshna Das has won "Women Breakthrough Award, 2023" on her work "AI to Identify Gender Bias in School Textbooks", which was carried out at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur as part of her doctoral research with Prof. Jiaul Paik. Female scientists are awarded by Falling Walls Foundation and the Elsevier Foundation for their visionary research and commitment to issues of gender justice and equality in science.
